Of the many types of enticing activities competing for your holiday in Turkey, a sailing holiday onboard a traditional Turkish Gulet ranks amongst the very best. Many agree that this is Turkey at its most spectacular.

Imagine anchoring every night in different idyllic bays where the pine forests cascade down virgin mountain slopes to converse with the sea. Imagine eating romantic meals under the moonlight with only the sounds of the ocean and distant goat bells for company; or you may want to dine in a secluded restaurant, only accessible by boat, sitting on the beach with the ocean lapping at your feet. Spend your days relaxing, swimming, snorkeling, visiting coastal villages or exploring classical ruins. The activities are abundant.

On a sailing holiday in Turkey you have the opportunity to leave civilisation behind and expose yourself to the wonders of nature. Enjoy every dawn, watch the sunrise, moonrise, witness orange dusks, heart warming sunsets, the stillness of night, the stars, the breeze and the mystical green and blue hues of the Mediterranean. The whole experience is simply sublime and truly unforgettable.

How the days go by....
You cruise daily for a couple of hours or so then anchor in a quiet bay or in a little village. You can then swim, kayak, snorkel, take a walk on land or simply laze. Generally you will visit 2 to 3 bays a day.

Save the Turtles Campaign
Journey Anatolia will donate £10 from your booking to the Ulupinar Conservation Coop who protect and monitor the activities of sea turtles.
