Air Ballooning in Cappadocia |

 |
 |

Cappadocia's
unique environment provides excellent conditions for quality balloon
flights. Due to the microclimate and the extraordinary formations
in the landscape, you have the opportunity to fly low amongst the
fascinating topography, sometimes even picking fruit from tree-tops.
Every flight is a fantastic adventure as you float majestically over
this extraordinary landscape. Without doubt this is some of the best
hot air ballooning in the world.

| These
flights are conducted for Journey Anatolia by the legendary Kapadokya
Balloons Co. With an highly experienced and professional team of
staff dedicated to ballooning, they combine technical skills, geographical
knowledge and good humour for a safe and memorable experience for
everyone.
The team is led by pilot
Lars-Eric Möre from Sweden. Lars has been flying for over
22 years, accumulating more than 6000 hours as pilot in command
of balloons of different types and sizes. He is one of the world's
most experienced pilots with a perfect safety record. He has
also worked as design engineer for record high-altitude burner
systems, and was instrumental in the preparations for Richard
Branson's world record successes.

Clean up your
CO2 emissions with Climate Care. |
The
burners in an hot air balloon generally run on propane. They emit
some pollutants, including carbon dioxide. However, the amount
of pollutants emitted by balloon burners is small compared to cars,
motor boats, coaches etc. In the big picture hot air balloons have
a very small effect on the environment. If you would like to learn
about how you could help clean up your CO2 emissions please visit
Climate Care. |
