Guest Testimonials

A wonderful new addition to Journey Anatolia’s portfolio of boutique hotels in Turkey is 'The Mediterranean Garden Retreat' - a quiet haven, nestled in the village of Cirali. The self-catering property is comprised of only three cottages in a lush 1.2 acre garden, making this private getaway feel like a home away from home and perfect for family holidays. The highly creative proprietor Serpil Kiliç takes great pride in her garden, abundant with organic fruit trees including pomegranate, apple, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, avocado, mulberry, plum, fig, olive, grape, various nuts and various flowers such as jasmine, begonia, mimosa, magnolia. She also provides workshops for arts & crafts, and specialises in embroidery and textile arts.

The Mediterranean Garden is only a 5-minute walk to the beautiful, unspoilt 4km Olympos beach, an area protected for the turtle nests and nearby archeological ruins.

Accommodation
The accommodation is made up of 3 self-catering properties. 1 large stone house and 2 small cottages. The large stone house is comprised of 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 4 people. The smaller cottages have 1 double bedroom and an open plan lounge / kitchen area that can sleep an additional 2 guests. All the cottages are very tastefully decorated and equipped with their own kitchens. The all have private garden areas and of course guests can take advantage of the massive communal grounds as well. Nearby are local grocery shops selling fresh fruit and vegetables and if you feel you do not want to cook, the property also offers an excellent menu for evening meals.

Guests prepare their own breakfast but all the breakfast produce is provided; jams, bread, cheeses, olives, fresh fruit and salads.
