Hotel Imperial. Located on
a quiet, cobbled stone side street beside the Hagia Sophia Museum,
arguably Istanbul's most famous landmark, the hotel is a perfect base
for those interested in Istanbul's classical sites. Originally built
as a school and hospital in the mid 1800's, the building served
teachers and students of the Ottoman Medrese which still stands next
door and is used now as a cafe.
The elegantly furnished
