| With its lagoon like enclosure, it's hidden caves, it's fresh water rivers and the sub tropical jungles that rise from the sea into the surrounding mountains, the beach in Olimpos can only be described as magical. Even the pebbles here sparkle like gems creating natural mosaics that glimmer beneath the crystal clear waters.
Following the main river inland leads you up a deep valley on either side of which you can explore the ruins of Olimpos, established around 200 BC. Although engulfed by trees and vines the ruins are most fascinating and offer a remarkable insight into this ancient Lycian city.
