Western Turkey Photo Tour
The Western Turkey Photo Tour captures a broad range of Turkey's wonderful landscapes together with a genuine insight into its endearing culture. The tour serves as a great introduction to this fascinating land and offers a good mix of relaxation, travel and photography. Highlights of the itinerary include; Istanbul, Cappadocia, Assos, Kas, Antalya, Konya and many off-the-beaten-track villages and towns in between.
Photography
The tour is led by award
winning photographer Rod Wheelans AMPA ARPS MPAGB. Rod started
taking photographs when he was 7 but didn't become a serious photographer
until he was 12! He has become one of the best known and most successful
exhibition photographers in the UK. He is the immediate past President
of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. Rod will give Lectures
and Workshops en route.
Many agree that one
of the main pleasures of traveling in Turkey is the warm hospitality
of its people. Consequently our tours abound in opportunities for photographing local people. We interact with the local community at every opportunity, no fly-by telephoto photography here. These tours are about meeting people, getting their stories and enriching our photographs with authentic context.
